How to find your purpose.

Your brand purpose is what inspires customers to buy-in to why you do what you do. Customers are looking to invest in brands or businesses with a clearly defined purpose and that show a strong desire to achieve it. 

Your purpose should be unique to you and once defined, will become the roadmap for your identity, messaging, unique position and the type of audience you attract. Nike doesn’t just sell clothing. Nike empowers its audience through its clearly defined purpose.

Nike’s purpose statement:

Bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. If you have a body, you are an athlete.

 

This has nothing to do with their what and how but their why. To define your purpose is to find your voice and to find a reason for your customers or audience to believe in your brand or business beyond what you sell.

Craft your brand purpose statement and define:

• What you do.

• How you do it.

• Why you do it. 


 And it’s your Why that is now most important.
